HIS BIOGRAPHY
Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu , born August 9, 1974 in Madras, India, fondly known as Prince by fans, is an actor in the Indian Telugu movie industry.He is the son of Telugu actor Krishna and Indira Devi, born in Madras, Tamil Nadu and did most of his schooling and undergraduate in Madras. He has one elder brother, Ramesh, two elder sisters, Padmavathi, Manjula and one younger sister Priyadarsini. He married Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar who is two year older than him. in February 2005. On August 31, 2006, Mahesh and Namrata's first son was born and named as Gautam Gattamaneni.Mahesh Babu started out his movie career as a child actor in his father's films before making his debut as an actor. His debut film as a lead actor was Rajakumarudu, cast opposite Preity Zinta. His next few films such as Yuvaraju and Vamsi also helped establish Mahesh's career. But in 2001, his release Murari became a breakthrough for Mahesh. Mahesh and Sonali Bendre played the main roles of the film. However in 2002, Mahesh had a dull phase. Both releases Takkari Donga and Bobby flopped at box office.In 2003, Mahesh finally got the hit he was looking for. Okkadu became one of the biggest hits in Tollywood for the year 2003. Mahesh gave another flop at box office with, Nijam, that same year. However, he won the Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance in Nijam. In 2004, Mahesh acted in the flop, Naani, which was a remade from Tamil hit New. Arjun, which released in Summer 2004, came to be an average to above average grosser. For one year, Mahesh did not sign up for any film, as he was busy with Athadu from June 2004 to July 2005. It was a big hit both in India and overseas. In April 2006, his next movie, Pokiri became the highest grosser in the Telugu Film Industry. Mahesh's performance was applauded by even Ram Gopal Varma and Amitabh Bachchan. Mahesh's recent film, Sainikudu had a tremendous opening but failed to live up to expectations.But it managed a cool 100 day run. All his hits have been remade in Tamil and Hindi

HERE ARE THE DETAILS OF THE MOVIES DONE BY THE MAHESHBABU

1.RAJAKUMARUDU

Raj Kumar (Mahesh Babu) goes on holiday in Khandala and stays with his uncle Dhanunjay (Prakash Raj). He comes across Rani (Preity Zinta) and falls for her. However he ends up teasing her and she begins to despise him. She is determined to avoid him but he won't leave her alone. Raj Kumar saves Rani from some thugs and she is impressed by his heroism. After spending some time together she begins to like him and eventually love him.
Unfortunately his uncle(Prakash Raj, who happens to be the hero's mother's brother) has made other plans for him, where-in he reveals the actual past of the hero's parents and his family. He mentions the challenge that he made with his in-laws to get the hero married with his daughter. Complying to this, the hero informs the heroine that their relationship needs to end there, of course with a very heavy and broken heart!!!!
On going back along with his uncle to the village for his uncle's daughter, to his joy he sees that it's none other than the heroine herself.
The rest of the movie revolves around the plot that is woven by him and his uncle to gain the heroine's hand and re-uniting the uncle with his family. This is done in a comical sense and is fun to watch!!!

2.YUVARAJU

Srinivas(Mahesh Babu) just returns to India and joins a college in Hyderabad. There is this sexy dame called Srivalli(Saakshi Sivand) that attracts him with her looks. As we proceed a little bit we come to know that there is a friend for Srivalli called Vamsi(Venkat) in abroad whom she regards as her best friend and keeps him close to her heart as when a plane crashed 20 years back these two are the only survivors of the tragedy(Anybody listening?). Sreenivas also realizes that Srivally is a founder member of Shanti Nilayam and she is an avid social service activist. She do not reveal these two facts(One: She has no parents Two: She runs a orphanage) to any of her collegemates as she do not want to get their sympathy.
Finally Srnivas and Srivalli comes to know that they are in love with eachother. They break the news followed by a lavish engagement ceremony. For the placid viewers then comes the excitement in the form of Srilata(Simran) who arrives in nick of time to attend the engagement. Srivalli comes to know that these guys know eachother in abroad from the brief observation at her engagement ceremony.
Upon inquiring Srinivas admits that Srilata was his tour guide when he visited Europe. They do not share any other relationship than being good friends. Later on we come to know that Srilata has a kid called Teja(Harsha Vardan). Srilata admits to Sreenivas that her husband has left her. Meantime, the deprived son Teja shares deep bond with Sreenivas.
As the day of wedding is approaching fast, the thick plots unveils by Sreenivas suspecting that there is something fishy about Srilata. When he forces her to admit the story behind her marriage then Srilata confesses that when Sreenivas visited Europe, they happened to get blown with the magic liquid that was given by tribals out there. In the state of inebriation, the body chemistry worked out and the inevitable happened. It was only realized when Srilata came to know that she has become pregnant after three months. In fact, Srilata loved Sreenivas with all her heart. So she decided to give birth to the kid and see Sreenivas in him/her. That's how Teja came onto earth kicking and alive. Incidentally Teja happen to listen this confession between Sreenivas and Srilata.
Now the situation is clear. A happy Srivalli is getting ready for the eventful day of her life, wedding with Sreenivas. Sreenivas is in fix to decide why it happened to him(He had a kid as a result of the magic tribal liquor consumed and the acts there after). Srilata happened to meet Sreenivas accidentally on the day of his engagement. She cannot break the engagement and spoil the happiness of Srinivas. Teja knows that Sreenivas is his father. But he cannot call him his father as he promised his mother that he won't let Sreenivas know that Teja knows the fact. Meantime Vamsi is flying down to India and propose his love to Srivalli.

3.VAMSI

Vamsi (Mahesh) is the fashion designer who gets an opportunity to participate the Fashion Designer's contest held in Australia. Vamsi has a colleague model called Sneha (Mayuri Kango) who is selected to parade the creations of Vamsi in the fashion contests. Since Vamsi have to study the native culture of Australia to design the best outfit, he is asked to tour the Australia extensively for a month.
Shilpa (Namrata Sirodkar) is the daughter of an Industrialist Aakineedu Prasad (Nazar), who is studying in Australia. She decides to take a vacation after exams by touring the Australian country. Vamsi meets Shilpa in the tour and they slowly fall in love with each other (story and screenplay courtesy 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge). After the trip is over, Sneha who loves Vamsi comes to know that Shilpa and Vamsi love each other. Sneha trips and falls over the stairs and gets injured. When Vamsi gets disappointed since his model friend Sneha is injured, Shilpa surprises him by entering the contest with Vamsi designs and winning the first prize for Vamsi (courtesy Dil To Pagal Hain). When Vamsi and Shilpa are returning to India, Sneha decides to stay back as she thinks that Indian Model fare in Australia than India (what about software engineers?).
Shilpa lets her father know about her love and Vamsi. And he warns Vamsi not to get after his daughter. After a couple of fights, Shilpa decides to marry Vamsi in a temple. As Shilpa escapes from home to meet Vamsi in a temple, Arjun (Krishna) kidnaps her on the way. After waiting for Shilpa in the temple, Vamsi goes to Shilpa's house to enquire about it. Aakineedu (Shilpa's father) puts him behind the bars on the charge of kidnapping his daughter.
After coming to know that Arjun has kidnapped his daughter, Aakineedu bails out Vamsi and begs him to save his daughter. He also agrees that he is going to marry off his daughter to Vamsi.
