ANINani (Mahesh Babu), an 8-year-old kid, is frustrated with his mother's (Devyani) constant nagging. When he attempts for a suicide, a weird scientist (Raghuvaran) rescues him. Scientist makes this 8-year old Nani into a 28 year old grown-up with his 'newly discovered scientific technology'. Nani becomes big and starts living outside. His mother lodges a complaint in police station that her son is missing.
Nani gets a job in a toy manufacturing company as a product manager. There he meets up with Priya (Amisha Patel), the daughter of company's chief (Nazar). Priya falls in love with Nani.
Meanwhile, Nani realizes that his mother loves him and she is missing him a lot, so he wants to reach her back. When he seeks the scientist help to become normal kid, he reverts Nani as kid but he will have to continue as 28 year old in the nights. How Naani overcomes this dual nature is the rest of the film.
